Master Degree

The Department provides teaching of the new study program Sustainability and Circular Economy.

During their studies, the graduate of the master's study program Sustainability and Circular Economy will acquire competencies enabling him to manage the operation of technological and other operations and organizations in a sustainable manner with regard to their entire life cycle. At present, it is clear that the implementation of sustainable development of the whole society is not possible without the cooperation of environmental, economic and social disciplines.
 
This implies the need for experts with integrated education in chemical - technological, environmental and socio-economic disciplines. The aim of the presented study program is to educate these professionals able to implement and further develop the paradigm of sustainable development. The study program reflects current topics and societal challenges related to sustainable development, such as climate change, product ecology, circular economy and raw material security.
 
The study program emphasizes the language skills of graduates and knowledge of national and European legislation focused on environmental issues and sustainable development. Thanks to the acquired knowledge and acquired competencies, the graduates of the study program will find employment in state administration, industry, consulting and non-profit organizations.
 
Many organizations are now opening the position of Sustainability Consultant / Sustainability Manager. Graduates of the Sustainability and Circular Economy study program will receive fully appropriate education for holding these positions.
 
The guarantor and teacher of the study program Sustainability and Circular Economy is prof. Ing. Vladimír Kočí, Ph.D., MBA. In addition to a number of popular teachers from the ICT Prague, students will also be lectured by popular lecturer from practice, such as:

Mgr. Pavel Kavina, Ph.D. - Director of the Department of Raw Materials Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic
 
RNDr. Tomáš Hudeček, Ph.D. - geographer and politician, former mayor of the capital of Prague
 
Dipl. Ing. Zdeněk Horsák, Ph.D. - ex. General Director of SUEZ Utilization of Resources and Founder of the Czech Association of Circulating Economy, z.s.
 
Ing. Libor Ansorge, Ph.D. - Deputy Director for Science and Research, Research Institute of Water Management T.G.M.
 
RNDr. and Mgr. Miloš Polák, Ph.D. - founder of the Remobil project
