Thesis topic:

Indicators of sustainability in the Planetary boundaries

Our planet is currently facing multiple anthropogenic pressures, from climate change to the loss of biodiversity. The concept of Planetary boundaries aims to delimit the levels of those pressures that would lead to grave and irreversible changes if transgressed. In my research I look for indicators of these pressures and for ways to make the concept of Planetary boundaries operational in practice and policy deliberation.
