Topics

As part of my professional and research work, I focus on LCA methodology – both its practical application and its further refinement. My specific focus is on the issue of mineral resources. I am interested in the nature of the indicators used, their application in assessing environmental impacts, and the interpretation of results. During my doctoral studies, I aim to incorporate perspectives other than purely environmental ones – such as geopolitical or economic ones – into the characterisation process. Furthermore, I consider it important to improve the method of allocating the impacts of complex ore mining across the individual raw materials extracted.
