The ABTOMAT project – Utilization of Aluminium Bearing Raw Materials for the Production of Aluminium Metal, Other Metals and Compounds has been successfully completed after several years of international collaboration.
Coordinated by the Department of Sustainability and Product Ecology at UCT Prague, the project focused on alternative primary and secondary aluminium-bearing raw materials, reducing dependence on bauxite and recovering valuable materials from industrial residues and metallurgical by-products.
ABTOMAT brought together academic and industrial partners across Europe, linking expertise in raw materials, circular economy, environmental assessment and industrial applications.
We thank all partners and colleagues for the successful collaboration!
